RACHEL SCOTT

Rachel Beisel Scott is a fractional C-suite executive, entrepreneur, investor and athlete. In search of the lifestyle upgrade, she found herself in the Colorado mountains building the internet from the application layer to the infrastructure network and all technology in between. She founded Colorado Women’s Cycling Project, LeadOut Sales, BABsOutside and is an angel investor in a variety of Colorado-based startups through the SoCo Angel Network.

When not building communities, brands or businesses, you’ll find her on the top of a mountain (she’s finished all 58 of the Colorado 14ers), on a yoga mat, and of course on two wheels. She’s a two-time 6-day Breck Epic racer and 1st place women’s duo finisher. Rachel calls Colorado Springs, Colorado and Brevard, North Carolina home.

KAIT BOYLE

Kait Boyle discovered the mountain bike amidst a career in outdoor education and quickly fell in love with bikepacking which dominoed into pursuing long bikepacking expeditions around the world. That led to racing to see if she could, which turned into wondering what her best looked like. She then won a 24-hr World Championship, set records in self-supported ultras that rival the strongest men and then survived and overcome a traumatic car accident which has ultimately led her to where she is now – a passionate and dedicated backcountry mountain biker who rides to go deeper, connect to place and people, and expand her limits.

JENNY SMITH

 Jenny Smith is a New Zealander living in Gunnison, Colorado, with her husband Brian and daughter Jade. She has a 23-year career as a pro cyclist, triathlete, and is a cycling and triathlon coach. Throughout her career, Jenny has reprsented multiple sports at World Championships including track and field – distance runner, XTERRA ( 4th and 6th) at World Champs, as was a 7x World Championships Team member in mountain biking. 

Jenny owns Jenny Smith Coaching, a company specializing in personalized coaching for endurance athletes; she is the U19 program manager for Crested Butte Devo, the head coach for the Crested Butte Devo High School race team, and a CO MTB league coaches skills instructor.

ERIN HUCK

Erin Huck is a 6x Elite US National Mtb Champion, PanAmerican Champion, and Tokyo Olympian. Throughout her racing journey, Erin has balanced a career as an Engineer and Program Manager in the Medical Device Industry. In 2022, Erin added Mother to her list of titles. She continues to race at the Elite level, now balancing the three roles as she pursues her goals on and off the bike. 

SONYA LOONEY

Sonya Looney’s meaningful work plays in the intersection of high-performance and well-being.  As a 24-hour racing World Champion, 4x USA National Champion, and winner of stage races around the world, her perpsective and passion inform her roles as podcast host, health and performance coach, keynote speaker, and mom of 2 toddlers.  She has her MS in Electrical Engineering and is currently pursuing a second Master’s in Applied Postiive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.  She is also the co-founder of the Women’s Cycling Summit!

URIELLE CARLSON

Uriell (“Uri”) Carlson is a registered dietitian and endurance athlete based in Breckenridge, Colorado. She is the founder of Inner Wild Nutrition and the creator of Fuel Your Potential, a 1on1 nutrition program that teaches cyclists and runners what, when and how to to eat, so they can make intentional food choices to meet their needs and ditch fad diets for good. CARINA HAMEL

Carina Hamel is a co-founder of Bivo. As a former NCAA nordic skier and endurance aficionado with a passion for product development, her worlds collided when she realized there wasn’t a good solution for drinking water while riding. She broke the mold and made the first stainless steel bottle with a flow rate fit for all outdoor enthusiasts. Having spent a year abroad at the age of 16 sparked Carina’s enthusiasm and curiosity in cultures around the world. The desire to work internationally led her to footwear development, eventually setting up new manufacturing partners and facilities around the world. Her work has taken her on incredible international adventures – both in the outdoors and in business. A mom of five year old Svea and two year old Nolan, Carina loves to constantly challenge herself, run, ski, bike and play outside with her kids. 

JENN DICE

Jenn Dice brings unmatched energy and focus to her work each and every day. She is bold and draws on nearly two decades of diverse professional experience and a vast bike industry and advocacy network. Jenn’s love of bicycling is the rocket fuel that powers her exceptional efforts to boost all types of riding and all bike businesses. Jenn joined the organization in 2013 after more than a decade as leader of Team IMBA.

STARLA TEDDERGREEN

Starla Teddergreen raced professionally on the road for 15 years. She was a rider to watch; as a sprinter, lead out, or breakaway rider, she created opportunity in every race, winning the USA Crit’s overall in 2019, her final year on the road. She transitioned to privateer gravel and MTB racing in 2020 under the banner of Distance To Empty, her and her husband’s not-for-profit program that helps get CO-based women on bikes and to the start line. Starla is racing in the LifeTime Grand Prix series and is prioritizing race experience above all. That is why she is racing at Breck Epic. “I’ve never raced a MTB stage race and wanted to take the opportunity to challenge myself.”  Starla is a planner, a dreamer, a leader, and a survivor! She has endured some tough health challenges and continues to show up for herself, her husband, her community, and the Distance To Empty athletes. 

LEAH VAN dER LINDEN

Leah is leading the suspension clinic at the Yeti tent.   She is a professional off-road cyclist.
